Chloe Cho is a Presenter and Executive Producer in Channel NewsAsia’s Current Affairs department. She presents, develops programmes, and oversees editorial content for the channel’s business shows including new interview series, “Millionaire Minds” and “Women of Substance” alongside weekly business show, “Investor Insights,” and business reality show, “StartUp Asia.” She also serves as a moderator at international forums such as the World Economic Forum, the Asian Development Bank and the ASEAN Summit.
Previously she anchored global shows for CNBC Asia. A prolific international journalist, Chloe has presented and reported on key news developments from the 2008 global financial crisis and G20 meetings to Thai political tensions and the North Korean nuclear crisis. Having traveled extensively on assignments, Chloe has interviewed top newsmakers including IMF Chief Christine Lagarde, Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem, South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, and Philippine Vice President Leonora Robredo as well as Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman of State Bank of India, Samsung Electronics Co-CEO Boo-Keun Yoon and financier Mark Mobius. A finalist for “Best Business Report” at CNN World Report Contributors’ Awards in 2003, and also a finalist for the TV Personality category for AIBs (Association for International Broadcasting) Awards in 2015 and 2016, Chloe was selected among 50 Most Influential Koreans recognized for their work in international media, culture and arts by Newsweek Korea in 2009.
